FLORENCE
WEDDING HALL
- The Florence wedding hall is a 14th century
medieval palace located in the very heart of the most famous
piazza in the city. This piazza symbolizes the very essence
of Renaissance Florence. Possibly the grandest wedding hall
in Italy, the Red Hall interior is lined with red silk and
gilded furnishings. It can hold very large numbers but is
great for a bride and groom only as well.
- Civil ceremonies are celebrated here and
performed in Italian with an English speaking translator.
It is possible to have live music here and even two Renaissance
guards accompany you down the aisle Ceremonies take place
here Wednesday and Thursday and some Saturdays mornings
only.
- The "Red Hall" is one of the most
dramatic locations for a wedding. The hall is possibly the
finest and most elegant in Italy with silk drapes and gilded
mirrors. One of the most requested locations in a city that
is bursting at every corner with antiquities, art and history.
