13TH CENTURY CHURCH IN FLORENCE
- This magnificent church is located in downtown

beautiful and highly decorated church.
The church is warm and intimate while retaining a typical
Florentine early Renaissance atmosphere.
- This church was the canonical center of
various rich and important Florentine families back in the
13th century who made sure that its interior and exterior
were decorated by some of the finest local artists. The
result is a truly rich and elegant interior without being
overly ornate. In the 1960's the church was finally restored
and brought back to its original splendor. The interior
has aisles divided by pillars made of semi-precious stone.
